Attendance
All schools must keep an attendance register in which, at the beginning of each morning and afternoon session, pupils are marked present or absent.
A child’s absence may be classified as authorised or unauthorised.
At the end of the academic year each child’s attendance record will be included in the annual report. However, all children's attendance is monitored fortnightly by the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher.
It is important to inform the school as to the reason for your child’s absence as soon as possible. .
If the absence remains unexplained then the reason for the absence is logged as unauthorised.
